Can't win em all but shouldn't be dropping games to Stanford out of all teams.

that teams not bad - 5-1 since adjusting their lineup and getting healthy. ...and that Harrison Ingram kid is unreal. first-round nba talent in-waiting. a little help from the refs in that weird 5 minutes before the half, and we win that game. refs kept them close.

...and WTH was that late lane foul call on Peterson?!?! awful. lol

About to say the same thing, can't win em all.

Let's start another 13 game win streak.

    Beat the Beavers!!!

Exactly. Long season & you're bound to have several off games. It was just a combination of several small paper cuts: Stanford shot lights out from three, they got a lot of random bounce/loose ball gimmes, Vez really struggled on D, and Drew kinda disappeared for most of the game. There were several times when I thought we'd pull away and Stanford would either nail a deep three or a loose ball would bounce off five players into the hands of Furd for an easy two. It happens.

Excluding Isaiah Mobley, everyone shot poorly from 3 and from the line. Need those to win games in March and in the P12 tourney, glad we got this game out of the way and have clear things to improve.

Ha!! The reactions on twitter are ridiculous. We just didn’t shoot well and the players didn’t seem all that engaged especially down the stretch. We just lost our first game in the middle of January. So proud of this team. Beat the beavs!

Have to stay engaged especially on defense. Can’t allow a team like Stanford who can shoot 3s wide open shots from the perimeter. Noah Taitz and Spencer Jones are role players who were able to get comfortable and produce way above their averages. It happens.

CabJag - exactly right. We weren't necessarily as good closing out on the perimeter, but they repeatedly knocked down some quick-hitting long range shots most role players don't make at that clip. Move on. Learn. Get better.
