According to 2019-2020 Media Guide, page 139, the team record for blocks is 14, versus Pepperdine in 2017. For individuals, there are three guys with 8 in one game; four players with 7 in one game (including Sam Clancy, Avondre Jones, Taj Gibson, and Alex Stepheson. Then the media guide lists five guys with six and says there are eight others tied with six in a game, but doesn't name them. Those that are named: Omar Oraby (2013); Dewayne Dedmon (2012; Nikola Vucevich (2010); Taj Gibson (2007; and Chimezie Metu (2018). Chimezie's six blocks was versus Colorado at Galen Center on 1-10-2018.

With its length, this team may challenge that one game record of 14 blocks.

With no season tickets, I never got my hands on the 2020-2021 Media Guide. Did Okongwu have a big game blocking shots last season? Anybody remember?
