Great write up as always from Rich. Thank you for sharing. Re: the grad transfers returning, they definitely can & should but let’s keep in mind by this time next season Isaiah, Tahj and Chevez will be around 23/24. We could see a few of them opt to play professionally somewhere, but it would definitely would be great to have them all come back. I just don’t know how the numbers will work with the incoming freshmans as well.

Here's the roster next year, that we know of for sure (barring any transfers out):

      Ethan Anderson
      Malik Thomas
      Reese Waters-Dixon
      Kobe Johnson
      Noah Baumann
      Max Agbonkpolo
      Drew Peterson
      Harrison Hornery
      Isaiah Mobley
      KJ Allen
      Boubacar Coulibaly
      Josh Morgan

Then there are the three grad transfers: Eaddy, White, Goodwin

If the limit next year is still 13 scholarships, then we can only keep one of the grad transfers.
If the limit is relaxed, then we will have 15 players on scholarship for one year and a real amazing opportunity to have a strong veteran team mixed with quality youth. No superstar at our disposal, but a bunch of really solid guys all around (though I think KJ Allen is going to be a real gem).

Boy, I can't imagine the NCAA capping the roster. That would effectively eliminate the whole purpose of the free year.

Seniors aren't counted against the limit. They can even bring in more grad transfers.
