  • How many of the grad transfers does Andy keep around for next season?

Since this season is basically a freebie for all athletes in all sports, what does Andy do with Isaiah White, Tahj Eaddy and Chevez Goodwin next season? We have the following coming back: Peterson, Anderson, Baumann, Agbonkpolo, Boubacar, Morgan, Waters and possibly I. Mobley. Add to that the incoming freshmen: Malik Thomas, Kobe Johnson, Harrison Hornery, and KJ Allen. That's 12 scholarship players without the grad transfers. How do you see them all fitting in?

13 is the max right? If White, Eaddy & Goodwin all want to come back, Enfield will have to "make room" like Henry Bibby used to. I wouldn't be surprised if lower rated recruits and/or guys who aren't getting much PT this year decided to move on.

And yes, I'd like to see all 3 of those guys stay another year.

I assume some of them will want to go pro (e.g. overseas) after they achieve their academic objectives at USC. Are any of the incoming freshmen coming expecting to redshirt (as Peterson and Morgan initially did)?

He can bring them all back. Seniors aren't counted against the limit

I agree that we could have 15 players on scholarship next year, as the seniors this year would not count toward the 13 limit. I just don't know if that is feasible from a roster management standpoint and was wondering how people thought this may play out. Self-elimination by moving on to professional leagues or going into the portal is an option. Who do you think we will retain in the end and what do you envision a 2-deep would look like?

White is married with a kid. I’m sure he’s going to try and make some money somewhere next year

Yep exactly why I assume Isaiah White might not opt to return. Much as I want all the seniors to come back, they all have their personal goals/obligations + will also all be between 23/24 years of age by this time next season.

Exciting to think Peterson will have two more years with us.

The team in two years has a chance to be really good. You could have Peterson, and RDW and Malik with a year under their belts. Isaiah as a senior, Morgan as an upperclassman with added weight, and potentially an elite OAD like Kijani Wright

Then hopefully he is smart enough to think long term. He should get a USC grad degree in something he can excel at because the NBA is probably not in his future (despite the fact that he has grit and heart for days).

He has a chance to grow into a late second round pick.
