Game thread vs Wazzu 1/16 6:30pm P12 Network

Solid start so far. Offense still in rhythm. Tahj & Isaiah White have led the team in scoring. Wazzu’s PG, Isaac Bonton is a blur but is also very careless with the basketball. They just forced him to a 10 second violation. USC 19-14

Seems like the strategy from every opponent this season will be clog the paint and force non-Evan players to make shots.

I'll tell you, after SC beat Maclean and the Bruins one time when I was a student, I saw him at Stratton's in Westwood afterward and complimented him on the game. I think karma has come back and he's such an enjoyable broadcaster. I think I prefer him to anyone else.

Maclean is also far and away my favorite broadcaster as well.

I still remember those heated battles between the McLean/O'Bannon teams against our Miner/Cooper teams. I couldn't stand McLean as a 'Ruin player. But I agree with both of you, he does an excellent job as a broadcaster (so far, at least ;-) ) .

ha-ha was surprised nobody started a thread yet. I love Don. He’s always been complimentary of our program & cae. I saw him coach a club bball team that had his son playing on. Very professional & soft spoken. Also was a heck of a basketball player in his own right.

Man. Tahj has been playing lights out lately. Don just made a great point in regards to Ethan coming back that it should make Tahj more comfortable on offense with less of a workload of having to handle the ball on a full time basis.
