  • So far at the halfway mark,

If Zaire Williams is a one and done then I'm glad he turned us down. He's shooting 36.7%. There are only two guys in our rotation with a lower shooting percentage and Williams takes a lot more shots. He's also averaging 3.5 turnovers a game!

We all wanted Ziaire to end up at USC & play alongside Evan but le: be honest, this current make up that seems to rely on synergy/strength in numbers has worked out so much better in our favor. Just imagine Ziaire, Evan and Josh Christopher in C&G? Would be amazing on paper & probably a preseason top 10 but based on what we know now..all of them fitting/meshing together would probably have taken a lot of time.

I think USC was very fortunate that Ziaire went to Stanford and Peterson became eligible. At this moment and on this team, I'd rather have Drew.

Peterson has been a pleasant surprise and someone I think media should be praising more

not only that but i'd read that we'd have lost max if that's the case. he's really improved since settling in after a pressing start to the season. next season he takes a big step forward.

Max was huge in the second half against Stanford. Hopefully that will boost his confidence and allow him to be even more effective going forward.
