Personally I don’t understand how UCLA has been winning so many games. Campbell can dish but can’t shoot, those who can shoot seem inconsistent, and they have zero depth up front. Nevertheless Cronin seems to get them to play together as a team, but many of their wins have been close. I think the magic wears off a little bit at some point, and I predict USC by 10.

Campbell has improved quite a bit this year. While he is not a major threat from 3pt range he can knock some down(similar to EA). He has really improved is his mind range game. When he has driven past defenders he makes that pull up around the free throw line. And he makes better decisions with the ball finding teammates. I think you're selling him short. As he goes UCLA goes. He is probably the key to beating UCLA. Maybe a game EA can help defensively. UCLA has a lot of solid players and their scrappy. We'll have to play really good to win.

I think USC is the likely winner. Enfield and Co have had this group of UCLA players figured out for a while and it’s been a long time since our guys were intimidated by that program. They don’t really match up well with us or have a serious motherfucker that we have to deal with as in years past. Also, we are due for a hot shooting game and it looks like Peterson has his confidence back.
I suspect that we will be up for this one and play hard and when that happens we are hard to beat. I see this game a lot like the recent OSU game, kinda close for much of the way but then we pull away in last couple minutes.

Like I have told several on this board personally, I was glad Nix decided to go pro rather than play a season or two in Westwood. That kid would have been the difference from a top 25 Bruin team to a potentially top 10. We really do match up well with UCLA & have always outclassed them with our athleticism. This year is no different. Evan Mobley will wreck their front line tomorrow. USC by double digits!

The fact that we are playing at home again I feel like is a huge deal, and coming off the win from stanford just adds to the momentum.
Like everyone else, I really like SC here, we matchup better and have clutch, mature players like drew, Tahj and Evan - Tyger, Hawkez, Kyman, Juzang, Hill, Riley are all *good* but not yet great.
As others have mentioned, UCLA has played it close to the chest for a lot of their P12 wins and I think we match up better + I dont think they have played a defense as solid as ours. That being said, Mick is a great coach, the players buy in and we still lost to OSU two weeks ago so anythings possible.
Just hope we play solid basketball - I say a tight low scoring game, USC 64 - 61.
