Does this season count as a year of eligibility?

I know it doesn't for fall sports like football, but I don't recall seeing anything about winter sports.

It would be nice to have some of these grad transfers for another year.

During the broadcast of the UCI game, Ted Robinson said it's a freebie year for all. Doesn't count against eligibility
