  • WOW! Ethan anderson 2 thumbs up! Exactly the kind of play at PG the team needs.

His play against the bruins was like a coming-out party game.

He displayed confidence in his outside shooting and made a lightning-quick, Kyrie Irving like drive behind the basket, flipping it up for a bank shot layup.

He penetrated, trying to pass. EA and Eaddy seem to compliment each other in the backcourt. Eaddy seemed to benefit in that he was stroking open outside shots.

EA was very impressive; I was so pleased with his performance. I hope he plays consistently at that level. That's exactly what the team has been missing. He appears to be a great, hard-working kid with great parents; I am pulling for him to succeed. He looked like a completely different player out there against the bruins.

EAs play, and Eaddys outside shooting will open things down low for the Moselys.

We seem to be peaking right now, getting better, and starting to gel as a team; they should be an interesting team to watch going into the tournament. We will see...

Yeah, I think Mick tunneled on the Mobleys for this game, trying to take away the easy baskets.

Teams will watch this game and not make the same mistake twice. However, this will open up the game elsewhere, just need to continue to evolve; can't be one dimensional.

I agree that the team is still getting better on a steady upward trend. EA has definitely been one of the reasons for expecting a higher ceiling. They haven't yet played their best game IMO. The Mobley's are still developing physically. Our shooting has been sporadic and usually bad in one half and better in the other half. We have too many turnovers in most games. But.... Defense has been consistently good and once the offense really takes off then we will turn some heads in the tournament!

I've been critical of EA's production this year, but he was the hero in one of the biggest games of the year. Definitely earned that C on his chest. I'm still not sure if his high 3pt % will stay high since he's more of a spot up 3pt shooter than an off the bounce kind of guy which is totally fine. Eaddy and Baumann are obviously more confident and comfortable with step back 3s in their arsenal. The Mobleys command a lot of attention and someone needs to knock down open 3s. Love that EA can make them pay for ignoring him.

Hope EA's healthy again and can be either the starter or 6th man that USC needs to win the Pac-12 and make a deep tourney run. Every good team needs good PG play to advance, so a lot is on his shoulders.

        Fight On, EA!

To me, EA only needs to shoot the wide open 3, just so we have that threat. After that, he does his job by driving and distributing the ball well bringing the ball up the court safely and playing good defense. Next year he can move to shooting contested/step back 3's if hes good enough.

There's a new EA for SC fans to cheer for after EA the linebacker transfered.

The effect of EA's 3-point shooting was shown in full effect in the 2nd half. He was positioned in the corner and the defender came out to guard him. EA went past him like he was stuck in concrete, then made a spectacular under the basket move for a layup against another defender that came over late to try and block the layup. No other Trojans were near the basket. I can see teams now try to run EA off the line, only to have him go by them and either go to the basket or lay the ball off to someone suddenly left open under the basket. This the weapon this team has needed to go to the next level.

That reverse layup was so smooth, I got out of my seat hahaha.

Like other Trojans I was thrilled to see EA's performance, particularly against the Uglies. It is his best performance as a Trojan I believe.

Let us hope and see that EA performs similarly on more consistent basis.

This is just a thought. As EA was starting to come back from his injury, it occurs to me that he might not have been to do much more than work on his jump shot. It looked to me that he has a lot more arch in his shot than I remember last year. He was also pretty good from the FT line.
