BYU is frequently Gonzaga's kryptonite. Not tonight. Man, this should finally be the 'Zags' year.

Agree. I could see USC beating Gonzaga if they bring their A game. Baylor is just a different beast.

I took a futures bet on the Zags +900 to win it all in November and I'm sticking with it. But Baylor does scare me.
I think the Zags are on cruise control right now. They've so outgrown the WCC I just can't imagine getting up for 20 conference games in that league, and yet they've still won every game by 10+ getting everyone's best shot.
They've also got a top 5 pick (Suggs), a first round pick (Kispert), and four other guys who will get drafted whenever they do declare (Timme, Ayayi, Watson, Nembhard). Pretty incredible Few has built a program where top players want to play at Gonzaga of all places.

Gonzaga is beating a good Byu team away, but Baylor's beating Texas away and Kansas, TT, OK on a regular basis.

Idk, to me it seems the Zags are hyped every year then can't finish in the tournament... Have they won it once yet?

... Only one team wins it all each year and when you get to the Sweet 16 and above, the team you're playing against is usually pretty awesome, too. Just looked up Mark Few's tourney record:
NCAA championship game appearances: 1
Final 4 appearances: 1
Elite 8 appearances: 3
Sweet 16 appearances: 9
Round of 32 appearances: 16
Nine Sweet 16 appearances in 22 years ain't bad for any coach. Probably only Coach K is better.

Oh, I've got absolutely 0 complaints about Mark Few and the Zags; he's running a solid program that makes it to the tournament almost every year and often has deep runs.
They are without a doubt, one of the most robust programs of the last decade. I've got no quarrels with that.
But homeboy over there put a bet on the Zags winning it all and, while I wouldn't be surprised with that outcome, I think Baylor's in a better position to do it.

Ehhh not sure about that. More like 5-15. They lack shooting outside of Kispert and Timme hasn’t faced much length all year. Don’t get me wrong they’re damn good, but that’s a better matchup than Baylor
