already had known for years. It’s much easier to win games when you have the best player on the court on your team. Ucla and AZ have had that advantage for years now. Its nice to play against ucla and az and know its not a huge uphill battle due to the talent disparity.

Yes, remember what it was like to play Arizona with Ayton? Holy smokes. That really sucked.
Nice to put the shoe on the other foot. No one wants to play USC right now.

As we get more players sticking on NBA rosters, I think CAE and the assistants (including coach Mobley) will be able to make a strong case that SC is a good choice for elite players. An all-SC NBA team with Big O, Nikola, Derozen, Melton, Metu, and JMac would win some games. Gibson had a nice run as well. Add Evan next year to this impressive group.
Somehow we've got to get another Jmac though.

you're right Villanova didnt have any Top 10 classes in the 3 years preceding the title seasons. Virginia did have one in in 2016 (#7 on 247).
Either way most teams can't win unless if they have Top 10 talent on the court, Wisconsin (under Bo) and Villanova tend to be exception to the norm. Hope USC continues to win to get more recruits' attention.
