  • TAHJ EADDY Appreciation thread

Stud. Complete stud. An unheralded grad transfer from Santa Clara who a few years ago lit us up on the road. His calmness, his quiet persona who just goes about his business but would bust your a** for 20. Glad he’s with us & glad he’s showing what a capable player he is at this level of basketball. Fight on!

Love Tahj's game. Bonton is no slouch and Tahj looked like a step faster.

I am eating my BBQ crow because I had low expectations for him being this good. And he's been good for a while, as early as the non-conference season as a matter of fact.

He was fantastic, a real difference maker!

Our PG position had 33 points, 5 RBs, 7 assists, and shot 60% from the field with just 3 turnovers.

Eaddy is so complete and steady. Why do you think CAE doesn't have him at pg? He is th most consistent player at guard.

NO QUESTION!! You hit it on the nose, TrojanLarry. Taj is easily our most steady PG. Ethan still picks up his dribble....makes maddening jump passes, on occasion (mush less than last year, tho), and doesn't have the handles or decision-making prowess Taj has. Let Taj do this thing and run the show, CAE! Guard play - VETERAN/STRONG guard play is so important in the post season. I sure hope CAE continues to give even more minutes to Taj!!

OMG, Eaddy has been great. How nice to have a consistent scorer at the guard position. He rarely takes bad shots and doesn't turn the ball over much. He is also a better defender then advertised. We would be so screwed without him. Is there any way USC can coax him into returning? It really is very enjoyable watching him play as some other guys we have cost me lost lose the few hairs I have left.

I heard the nCAA was allowing NCAA players to play this season and not lose a year of eligibility. That was the case for football...and my niece plays volleyball at Stanford, and it is the same for them (although they completely canceled their season). DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF BASKETBALL PLAYERS HAVE THAT SAME OFFERING?

I feel best when he has the ball in his hands.

From an NBA talent perspective, sure. From a - this season we need players to make big plays, so what is there value right now? - I'd say they might be closer than most people think. Taj has been beastly. They're both amazing Trojans.

If you watch highlights throughout the year whenever our guys have a big play and he’s on the bench hes the first to get up and cheer our guys on. I love this dude.

Love Tahj Eaddy. His game reminds of Denis Schroeder.. Again, let us give credit to scouting and coaching for finding him. Fight On Tahj!

He’s really been the missing piece. A solid point guard.

He’s our No. 1 guy next year if he comes back. So smooth and cool headed. Hope he continues to wear off on the others. He should teach them how to avoid turnovers and make FTs. I agree that he is really the Co-MVP.

Man - I couldn't agree with you more. He's easily the most steady point guard we have on the team - and maybe the past 20 years! Dude dribbles, scores, and makes good decisions, like a veteran player that he is. He is cold blooded. I liken him to the college version of SWEET LOU WILLIAMS - my favorite player in the NBA! This kid rocks! SO GLAD TO HAVE HIM!! GREAT recruiting, CAE. Taj dropped 21 points on us a few seasons back, and Andy never forgot that. I just LOVE this kid. Let him lead - we'll go places.

Sweet comp. for some reason, I’ve always compared him to my favorite college player of all time, Joe Forte. That calmness, and his mid range/floater has been $$$ all season.
