  • So our last conference title was 1985....

....but the last time we won the conference outright was 1961!!!

So this team has a legitimate chance to do something no USC team has done in 60 years.

I'd say the odds of winning the conference outright, based on what I've seen thus far of the conference field, is probably like 60%. Probably 80% chance we at least tie for it. Maybe a 10-20% chance we don't finish strong and wind up second or worse. Of course each new win shifts these percentages a bit more in our direction.

The team really, really has to believe in the biggest cliché in sports......TAKE IT ONE GAME AT A TIME.

the way I see it, every passing win is one less game to worry about. One positive to SC not running away with the title right now is that it gives more incentive to keep on winning to boost the seeding. It would be nuts if SC got the 1 seed. That would have to be a first right?

UCLA dropping another one before we play them would be HUGE

The way the Bruins are looking, I think that your wish just may come true.
