  • Big Congrats to Coach Andy Enfield on his 150th win

    Enfield's wins the last 5 seasons before this one: 21, 26, 24, 16, 22.

Average wins per year during that stretch: 22.

    This year so far: 18-3.

No previous USC coach has ever had more than 3 20-win seasons. Enfield is about to notch his fifth in six seasons.

At this rate, he will be USC's all-time winningest coach in about 5 years (Sam Barry has 260 wins).

Enfield took over a last place program a few years off probation, with no fan support and very little administration support, and turned it into a consistent 20-game winner, with 4 NCAA tournament qualifications in 6 seasons (with one screw job in '18), and a steady pipeline of SoCal talent. USC's reputation in basketball has never been better.

Give credit where credit is due.

This year is the most impressive, I thought after losing OO and Jonah Matthews, we would barely get into the tournament even with Evan. I didn’t expect much with the transfers but boy oh boy was I wrong.

Definitely. Don’t know if there’s access to the old hoops site but I was pissed at Enfield after that mountain west trip but still wanted USC to beat UCLA at home to pretty much punch a ticket to the big dance. And that’s how it went down.

Pretty good chance for CAE to move to 160-win level by the end of this season.
6 regular season games, 3 PAC-12 Tourney games, 4 or more NCAA games? 😍😍😍

Let’s hope he turns us into a power. We actually have all kinds of benefits other schools don’t. Location for recruiting, exposure, weather is amazing. Facilities amazing. Top flight coaching is now there. Seems like we are in a great position to make a jump to elite status. Bohn and the athletic department need to capitalize on the current situation. I think we stand a much better chance to become elite in basketball than football under the current situation.

I think BLVD Studios should be a big sell to recruits going forward. I know that this was a key pitch for us landing some of the big fish for 2021 in football and puts us in a good position for more in 2022...

man I completely forgot BLVD Studios could apply to basketball. All the videos I've seen have been on football so far.

I'm assuming you mean Perennial Power and that would require an increase of home attendance. For those of you that know me from the other the other site, that was my main complaint. Maybe fans will turn out next year after seeing this year's team. I know it's a pipe dream but just think if Evan returned to play one more year with his brother and led us to the Final Four. Imo that would get us over the hump and put us on the map. If he did that then he just might replace Harold as my favorite SC player of all time.

Andy Enfield has done a remarkable job - especially on the recruiting front. He has brought in a lot of talent, and adjusted to the new NCAA transfer portal and developed those relationships as well as anybody. I feel the momentum.....Kudos CAE. Keep up the good work!

Freaking NCAA. What 2nd place regular season in the PAC-12 doesn't deserve to go to the tourney? THAT is March Madness.

In 2018, USC becomes the highest (best) RPI ranked team not been invited to the big dance in the NCAA Tournament history.
What a screw job NCAA has done!
