  • Season comes down to Monday night...

Lets be real, we all saw a loss or two coming with the remaining schedule. It was clear AZ wanted this game more.

what’s done is done. I am hoping this was just the team overlooking AZ with Oregon and CO ahead...poor shooting and lazy defense will never get it done, but still that was a winnable game. I’m ok losing games where we beat ourselves instead of being ran out of the gym. Couple more open 3s fall and FTs made at even a 70% clip, different ball game despite our lazy defensive effort.

That being said, Monday is now a must win. Lose Monday and we lose control of our own destiny for the regular season title. Team better play like it’s for the championship.

Evan will need that second half mentality all game. Someone besides Evan and Tahj will need to step up to hit a big shot. Chris Duarte will be another guard who will give us fits, but we will have a front court size advantage again that we must take advantage of and not let them control the paint.

man Utah came so close to beating Oregon. That would have been a nice buffer to have. If USC wins on Monday, it also gives confidence against beating physical teams.

Yeah Utah deserved to lose that one. 2 turnovers with a chance to win the game.

Looked like a BS call at the end though. PAC-12 refs being PAC-12 refs.

The worst thing to me was giving up 15 offensive boards and not boxing out their guys in general, just allowing them to crash the boards aggressively. I knew it was looking bleak for a comeback when the technical was called, plus a foul, and out of 6 FT attempts, we hit only 2 by the unlikely source I. Mobley. Noah is supposed to be our best shooter and missed his 2 FTs in a row, that hurt a lot. Honestly, I expected a lot more from him this season.

Totally agree. The technical event was a momentum swing opportunity for us and we did not take it.

Well now Monday looms much larger since ASU is about to blow the game.

They looked like us down the stretch. Poor shot selection, no defense inside.

I think we've been pretty good down the stretch most games this season... A select few games do stand out.

As for SC of the past... yeah thats them.

I was referring to today’s game. We’d get the stop, then get back to take a bad shot early in the shot clock. Isiah had one, and I believe Tahj the other on back to back possessions when it was under 10 points with 3 min or so left. And then gave up a couple of offensive rebounds as well to seal it.

It’s now do or die Monday for the regular season title. UCLA and Oregon may not even play a make up game, so this is essentially a two game swing if we lose it, moving both Oregon and UCLA ahead in the loss column. It would be such a pac-12/USC basketball thing to have them not have Oregon and UCLA play and that end up being the difference between our regular season title or not.

Yep, totally us today. We really did play a solid 30s of defense on a lot of those possessions, to watch it go down the drain with a poor offensive shot was gut wrenching. Miller had us figured out.

If they don't reschedule UCLA vs Oregon then Enfield & Bohn better not be quiet about it. That's some supreme utter BS..

New user here. Was originally on the USCHoops site and recently found this website. Currently go to ASU for grad school, so they're my second team. Today has been brutal for me.

Was seriously rooting for ASU last night. Couldn't figure out why R. Martin passed that last shot?

people dont seem to get this that the conference winner is determined on winning % and not the number of wins. But PAC12 gonna PAC12.
