  • Thursday is MAMMOTH

One of our last cracks at a surefire Q1 win (though UCLA should be as well). But if we take care of business on this road trip, there's a decent chance that UCLA drops one on the Mountain swing and potentially in Eugene as well.

Would be nice to have the P12 crown wrapped up before we play in Westwood

If we go 3-1 and beat UCLA, conference is ours.

This game is more about tournament seeding and excerising the demon that is Colorado.

but just for good measure let’s go 4-0 to finish the season and leave no doubt!

Would LOVE to give Colorado a taste of their own medicine. It’s going to be tough, hopefully the coaches are drawing up a great game plan. Last time against the Buffs was coming off the Covid pause as well.

Ethan was out the last time we played, and this team was dramatically different. What worries me is this road trip is always really difficult. And the refs will no doubt screw us.

Utah looks pretty good and Stanford could surprise too
The team needs to stay focused and not count in Tahj ending the game in the first 8 minutes.

Just seems like Utah hasn’t been able to close out any games this season. I expected Rylan Jones to make some sort of jump from his freshman year, but he’s been disappointing for the Utes.

Nice, heady player but unfortunately I just don't think he's a Pac 12 athlete. Also bulked up quite a bit and it seems to have slowed him down a little.

Ian Martinez's minutes also have me baffled. If I'm Krystkowiak, I ride with Plummer, Martinez and Larssen for their offensive pop.

This must be up there among one of the most entertaining performances in USC BB history, at least in the last few decades.
Hope Tahj and his teammates have an encore to show the Buffs and Tad Boyle.

Yeah - especially with the Hatfield & McCoy thing he's got for Andy Enfield. They seem to get on OK now, but nobody's forgotten what a du-putz Boyle has been. I'm ready for Thursday.

          BEAT THE BUFFALOES!

          Fight On!

Tahj is really the X Factor. We go as he goes. We know what we're going to get on the interior, and when Eaddy has it going like he has in league play, we're tough to beat.

What we really need is Drew Peterson to get back into his January form and Ethan Anderson to stay aggressive. Drew has been good in 2 of the last 3. Consistent, solid play from Drew and Ethan pushes us from good to great.

The key to me against Colorado is defending the 3 point line. Schwartz always seems to kill us.

This year any of the top 5 teams can beat the other especially at home.
UCLA has not lost at home yet.
It is going to be a tough game especially at high altitude.

I think Goodwin having a solid night goes a long way too. Of course hope that Isaiah is back.

Completely agree, what an unsung hero. Hope he sticks around. Him and Isaiah would be a damn tough frontcourt next season. He's a really good back to the basket player, it's a lost art!

How about we keep CU's score under 50? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
