Love the underdog role. It won't happen much more this season.
Gotta figure out a way to limit McKinley Wright. His speed is a killer. Let's attack him early and get a quick foul or two!

Absolutely focus on MW. Question is how.? Do you make the commitment to defend him at all cost or defend everyone else to limit his ability to run an efficient offense. I am no expert just a fan and alum who so much wants to win this game. I just hope CAE has the answer.FO!! -
Lot's of possibilities. I like the idea of trying to deny a player who is so instrumental in both decision making and scoring success. McKinley is pretty much the straw that stirs their drink. We don't have anybody ideal for that role, as MR is so darn quick. Getting other players to take shots and handle the ball is the goal. Attacking Wright early, making him work on defense, and doing what you can to deny him the ball as much as possible are all goals for CAE tonight, for sure.Last edited by SC MOJO; 02-25-2021, 01:33 PM.

I hope we win by 60. The past 2 years I’ve had to put up with their AD who ends up sitting close me. What a piece of work he is and a complete embarrassment to his university. I am fairly certain Enfield has a similar desire when competing against Boyle. Beat the Buffs !!Comment

4th game in 8 days, 3rd in 6 days. These 3 all against teams with 14 wins or more. Just played the most athletic team in the conference without 1 starter and they pressed for 85% of the game. Now we get to travel 5000 feet into the sky.
could you imagine the ACC doing this with Duke after re-scheduling? SEC with Kentucky? literally any conference with their 1st place team? it's insane.
but emerge tonight and nothing will scare this team. i know that i wanted more challenges but this is getting nuts.Comment

We will be battle tested by a challenging season, that's for sure. The ACC shows deference to Duke and UNC. I mean, they have earned it over decades of ridiculous success, but it's infuriating to not garner the deserved respect when we succeed. That's the one bit of chalkboard material CAE still has in his pocket. We might not be underdogs, but hot-damn of the media, the referees, the east coast bias, and our own conference don't continue to disrespect our program.
Our hoops program gets the red-headed-stepchild treatment in the PAC-12. Always has.

Duke wins 3 games against mediocre opponents and 1 game against an out-of-form Virginia team and all of a sudden they're back in contention. Swap USC in that place, and I doubt we'd be in the next next next four out, if that even exists.Originally posted by rocksteadysc View PostComment
