When a program puts itself on any type of self imposed punishment, the timing well at least to me never makes any sense. They’re coming off a huge win vs a solid Colorado team. Maybe the NCAA infractions committee will have a report soon? Doubt it...
Pretty obvious they're facing severe penalties, i.e. multi-year postseason ban, lose of scholarships, dismissal of Miller, so they're making a pre-emptory strike. Knowing the NCAA and their not-so-even handed form of justice, they'll probably get away with it. Sucks.
