  • Embarrassing just flat out embarrassing

Yes, we were in first place & yes we smacked Oregon pretty good but losing in this fashion to Colorado is REALLY getting old. Colorado has always lit it up from 3 even in the first match up at Galen, so where was the adjustment? Didn’t see any. Colorado isn’t a world beater, they are a Trojan dominator. We have been discussing so many hypothetical’s on this board about beating this team, beating that team & advancing this far in the tournament but performances like this should make every single one of us on this board think otherwise. Beat the Utes.

I dunno man. I think they just have our number. Whenever we got close and had momentum Horne hit a crazy 3. Just like Tajh coming out and hitting 3 straight threes against Oregon, that can really break your back, especially on the road

USC's only lost twice by double digits this season. Both to Colorado. Still a terrific season, but good guard play + physical bigs = USC's kryptonite. And Boyle owns Enfield.

No doubt about that. Just don’t like getting ran out of the gym, especially coming off on what seems like one of those “program changing” victories.

Bad matchup and they have way better guards

I did predict that we lose to Colorado and we finish at 16-4 in conference record prediction thread. I just hope that's the last loss we see.

This is why the Oregon game was a must win for the conference title race.

Too many of the threes were open looks, and offensively we were bad tonight. Tahj looked intimidated and Ethan (who didn’t play that badly) was easily handled by Wright.

Every team has tough patches in conference play, but we’ve lost two of the past three, and both teams showed a similar prescription to beating us: bully us, hedge the screens, and give shooters the green light because we sag down. If we want to do well in March, we’ve gotta step it up.

Yeah, it got away. Never fun. Hopefully we don’t have to play them again.

Good prediction. I think USC wins out the rest of the regular season. None of the remaining 3 teams are built like Colorado.

I think we should win out, and if we do, we will win the conference.

I think this loss emphasizes that our guards are just not at the same level as the top teams in the country.

Tahj is good. Drew if he has a good game. Ethan if he has a really good game and thats it.

Otherwise, we gotta depend on our defense.

& that should continue to be an issue heading into next season....

Bingo. Tahj has masked the deficiencies but you see why they’re recruiting Burnett

Not just our guards. Isaiah Mobley and Max are also problematic.

Except Evan and Steady Eaddy, our players are inconsistent.

Hopefully 21 is a good developmental transition year, and 22 lets us have a really developed backcourt
