  • Michigan getting run off its own floor...

...by the best team in the Big Ten that is also playing without its best player.

Yeah, if you want to pick a Big Ten team to win the title, pick Illinois.

Would have loved to have seen this before the game, would’ve played the $$$ line

Off of one game I wouldn't call Illinois the best team. They lost to OSU on their home court and play them on the road the next game. Michigan also got blown out by Minnesota. They're still 18-2 on the season. Wouldn't count them out so fast. Once in awhile it's just not your night.

I agree, but it's bizarre how Mich looked like a machine the last few games then just run into a wall... College basketball.

It looks like if you get someone who can body Dickinson inside they forget how to play offense - for that reason I like Baylor, Zags and Bama against Mich - could jus light em up from outside and Mich prob couldn't keep up. Each game is different though.

This is not a rash judgment off one game. Yesterday I laid out my reasons (below) for why Michigan is a great regular season team but not built to win the tournament, and why Illinois is the Big Tens best chance.

            Michigan is devoid of athletes.

Yep, credit where credit is due - read what you said about Dickinson's dearth of athleticism and it made me think Illinois had a real shot tonight.

Certainly didn't anticipate the blowout, but 8.5 pt dogs?? Awful line.

I refuse to put money on games cause I fear I may very quickly be forced to acknowledge that my "inklings" and "premonitions" regarding college bball games are wrong just as often as they're right! But still... Playing this one would have been sweet.
