  • If we win our last 2 games and end the season 15-5

and Oregon wins their last 2 games and goes 14-4 and wins the conference, it doesn't seem fair.

I agree it doesn't seem right given how easily we handled them in our game at Galen recently. But the Pac12 is gonna Pac12....Let's take care of our business first and see how things go. If we don't capture the regular season title, we still have a chance to win the conference tourney for the first time since 2009. Fight on, beat the farm!

We can discuss fairness when we handle our business. Until then there's no point.

What's not fair about it? We all knew this would be a goofy season and the Pac 12 said from the start that winning percentage would determine the standings. 77% is better than 75%.

If we win out and don't win the championship it'll be because we crapped the bed against Utah & Arizona.

We made our own bed, but it's also something that would only happen in the Pac-12. Any other conference would have rescheduled the games better and not waited until the last minute.

We should have canceled all regular season games 2 weeks ago and won the conference with these crazy rules.

This is what I've been saying. It's BS, but par for the course with the Pac-12. They should have tried harder to schedule more games for Oregon.

Oregon already won football because of a lucky covid break!

What the pac-12 should have done is make it clear to teams that they must play at least 20 games to qualify for the championship and they are responsible for making that happen. Other teams who made the schedule work and properly handled covid protocol shouldn’t have been up at a disadvantage.

Exactly. Punishing a team for playing MORE games is asinine.

well yea we sucked, but Oregon only got in because of Washingtons covid breakout iirc

We matched up better against Washington. We had zero answers for Thibodeaux

We also didn’t bother to double team him much (if at all). Typical Helton/Harrell BS: instead of adjusting, just assuming it’ll eventually work out.
