This was a total team victory with contributions from all around. Tajh led the team with an inefficient 16 pts (6-8 FG%,4-6 3's), Drew had an all-around great performance with 15 pts, 9 rebs, and 6 assists, scoring from outside (2 3-ptrs), and on drives. He had a couple of bad passes, but really pushed the tempo and got everyone involved. The key to the game for me was how we shared the ball to the tune of 21 assists. After going 2-13 from 3pt distance in the first half, we came back in the second half to knock down 7-14 3s, for a total of 9 made 3's. We also dominated inside and finished at the rim better than we have of late. We had 32 pts in the paint to only 12 for Stanford. The Mobley's were solid, but not great. Evan had 10 pts and 8 boards, while Isaiah had 7 pts and 8 boards. I was most encouraged with Isaiah's 5-6 performance at the FT line. Hopefully, that will give him confidence going forward through our March march.

Overall, I am very happy to get this victory and hope we bring the same energy and shooting prowess to Pauley Pavilion. We need to keep Johnny Juzang from going off and we will be alright. Meanwhile, we will become OSU fans and hope they can pull an upset of the Ducks. If not, and we can't win the regular season title for the first time since '84-'85 then we can still try to win the conference tourney for the first time since 2009 and try to improve our seeding, from about a #6 at the moment, to a much better #4 seed.

Fight on! Beat the 'ruins! Fucla! Play TUSK!!

Stanford’s dependence on De Silva was made pretty apparent today - but USC did what they should have (and then some).

Agree re: feeling encouraged by Isiah's FT shooting and Drew's return to form. It wasn't just the fact that I Mobley was 5-6, it was the fact that his shot looked real good, it wasn't just lucky bounces, he was really stroking it. And I liked the way Drew was aggressively and decisively attacking the defense, just like he looked earlier this season. Hopefully, this is an indication of their performance moving forwards as they head into the Bruin game and the 2 tournaments.
