  • Full scenarios for the Pac-12 Tournament...

If we lose to FUCLA, we drop to the four seed. Oregon would be the #1 if they beat OSU. We would draw Oregon State on Thursday, and get winner of Oregon vs. Utah/ASU/WSU. If you're talking only about Pac-12 Tournament match-ups, this isn't the worst one.

If we lose to FUCLA and Oregon loses, UCLA is the 1 seed. Then our road would be OSU, then winner of UCLA vs. Utah/ASU/WSU. That ain't bad either.

If we beat FUCLA and the Ducks win, we are a 2 seed and the Colorado hops the Fruins to become the three. We would face either the winner of the Utah/ASU game or UW. Colorado would get Stanford or Cal, and the winners of those games would play. An ASU then Colorado path would not be easy.

If we beat FUCLA and the Ducks lose, We are the 1 and UCLA slides to 4. We would draw the winner of WSU vs the loser of ASU/Utah. Win that one and we get either the Bruins or Oregon State. That is a GREAT path. Let Oregon and Colorado beat each other up in the night game.

So obviously the last path is the best. Beat the Bruins, Beavs beat the Ducks for the fourth straight time at Gill and for their sixth win in the last eight meetings, gain our first conference title in forever, have the path of least resistance to the conference championship game. Let's do it!

Yep, wouldn't that last one be a fairy tale ending...

By my count the teams locked into seeds are:

      Colorado - 3
      OSU - 5
      Stanford - 6
      WSU - 9
      UW - 10
      Cal - 11

      Winner of Utah-ASU is 7 & loser is 8.

      Loser of SC-UCLA is 4.
Winner of SC-UCLA is 1 if Oregon loses & 2 if Oregon wins.

I don't really care about our seeding. I'd just like to win the regular season title for the first time since I was a teenager.
