  • Chavez Appreciation

Before the season I was guessing that Chevez would be the most important grad transfers. Although Eaddy became the most important grad transfers, Chevez was valuable in providing back up to both Isaiah and Evan. He wasn't just filling time. He produced. He came through good today too against the Uglies.

Thanks for posting this. Fight On Chavez.

He was huge late in the game. I liked that CAE went with him than I. Mobley.

Chevez is tough under pressure and fought for all he was worth every time he was in there. He was calling for the ball a lot as he had his man screened off, but his teammates were not getting him the ball in the post, but he still found his ways to score a dozen points and at least made half of his FTs. Wish he was better at the line (hell I wish our whole team was!), but I will take his effort and toughness every day. We do need to get Isaiah White back for the Tourney, I hope he is healing up.

      Fight on!

Chevez is a HUGE part of this team - dude gives his all everytime he's on the court. He brings great energy, size and talent. Also, his spin and hook shot is a thing of BEAUTY, and I will never get tired of seeing it.

Zay missed so many easy buckets tonight. I was screaming at the TV in frustration. Thank goodness and way to step up Chavez when the team needed you most! Team effort! So sweet! ✌️

And where did he go at the end of the game? Right next to Eaddy, hyping him up and giving him all the credit. Just love the guys on the team. Isaiah White cheering too.

He is so good at scoring around the basket, even in traffic and when closely guarded.
