  • So who wins the PAC12 head coach of the year?

    Dana Altman

    Or

    Andy Enfield

Altman won the conference but Enfield beat Altman in the only meeting between these two. Someone pointed out Oregon State's Wayne Tinkle should win it but I disagree.

Should be Coach Enfield. Only 3 returning players, 4 transfers, and others with practically no Div 1 experience. Yet our team achieved more than 20 wins, and swept archirival.

The anti USC vote in the PAC 12 will doom The Enfield’s chances.

CAE deserves it, but I would not be shocked to see him get stiffed. I can’t tell if it’s rampant homerism but I really feel like the conference has an anti-USC bias.

Picked 6th & finished 2nd. Should be an easy pick, right??

I hope CAE .. That recognition will be great for recruiting as well.

If it's not Enfield, then it's a travesty. Oregon returned a team full of experience while CAE had to get a team full of newbies to mesh with just 3 returnees. It's bad enough Oregon wins the regular season with less wins, but if they take that away from Andy then there should be hell to pay.

COY is an award that almost always goes to the coach of a team that dramatically outperformed it's preseason expectations.

By that criteria it should be either Enfield, who's team was picked to finish 6th but actually finished "2nd" (with the most wins and a 1-0 record against the team that finished "1st") or Boyle, who's team was picked to finish 7th but actually finished 3rd and swept Enfield's team. Altman is in the mix as well as he led his team that was picked to finish 3rd to a 2nd consecutive conference "championship."

Enfield deserves it but I fully expect Boyle to get it or even Altman. Anti-USC bias is real...

Some morons probably had Washington in the top 3.
