  • USC vs the Bruins the Past Two Seasons...OUR TOWN

    ABOUT THE BRUINS
1 - UCLA compiled a 13-6 record in Pac-12 play after having opened their conference schedule with eight consecutive wins.
2 - Dating back to last season, UCLA has won 20 of its past 27 Pac-12 contests (and 28 of 39 overall games).
3 - Dating back to last January, the Bruins have won 18 consecutive home games (including the last 15 in Pac-12 play).
I pulled this just now from their website posting regarding the upcoming game vs Oregon State. Wow. Did they really post that last item?
    (1) - Another way to say item #1: "After starting 8-0, ucla compiled a losing record of 5-6."
    (2) - 3 of ucla's 7 losses in their past 27 PAC-12 games are against USC.
    (3) - ucla Social Media Dept. must be reeling to post this absolute lie. (I guess Saturday's game still hasn't registered...?) lmfao

    USC Fun Facts:
    - USC is 4-0 vs our little cross town bruins the past two seasons.
    - USC game winning shots are fun!
    - USC Basketball now officially runs Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — USC freshman forward Evan Mobley was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, the first player to ever win all three awards in the same season, and head coach Andy Enfield was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year, it was announced by the Conference today (March 9). Mobley is only the second player from a major conference to win all three of these awards in the same season, joining Anthony Davis of Kentucky (SEC) who achieved the feat in the 2011-12 season.

Additionally, Mobley was named first-team All-Conference and guard Tahj Eaddy was named second-team All-Conference. Mobley was also named to the Pac-12’s five-player All-Defensive Team and the five-player All-Freshman Team.
Evan Mobley becomes the first player to win Pac-12 Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year all in the same season, while head coach Andy Enfield was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
