Which is more important - regular championship or conference tourney championship

    Which is more important - regular championship or conference tourney championship

    Not sure which one is the bigger deal - winning regular season championship or conference tournament championship.

    I think for SC both are big deals. I know winning regular season is harder to accomplish and we came super close. Oregon just edged us to win regular championship. But Oregon will not have a chance to compete in the finals .. It will USC/Colorado vs Oregon State tomorrow night. Hope we we beat Colorado. And I don't care that we are playing Oregon State. I'm happy as long as we win. This means we are getting hot and peaking at the the right time heading to dance. For now, Beat the Buffs!

    I'm curious, if we win the conference tournament championship, is there a banner that we can hung at Galen for winning?

          Regular season conference title. But Oregon played two fewer conf games than us, and we beat them head to head. That is an asterisk season title.

                          I’d say regular season title is good for intra conference respect, but tournament title is good for national respect - obviously has big dance implications.
