  • Terrific Win

Finally, USC gets a win at Arizona. Great Game. MJD

    MJD,
I said it in an earlier post, this team has great makeup, sweet chemistry and the talent to win a couple games in the NCAA tournament.
    Quick hits:

Peterson- The guy is nails!! He just goes about his business, pickin' up double doubles and will win the game for you if needed.
Max A- Best game of his career. Can someone please tell the staff that he should always ATTACK the basket first, shoot 3s later.
Evan- Believe it or not he gets criticized alot by tv commentators and then he gives you a sweet turnaround jumper in crunch time and a eye opening rebound slam with his off hand 😬🔥
White- High motor high energy huge transfer pick-up! I chuckled when posters were saying he can't shoot and he's not PAC12 caliber.
Every game it will be different guys stepping up.
Last time out Evan was shut out vs Utah. We won by 18!!
Let's go get the sweep Trojans!!
    FTFO ❤💛🎯✌

I am absolutely thrilled to have lived long enough to actually see SC win in Tucson. I was wondering if that would ever happen again in my lifetime. It seems like SC has had it share of issues when games have been live on ESPN. Finally, SC not only overcame a slow start, but they played tough and hard for the rest of the game and they beat a pretty good Arizona Team
I especially love to watch a guy like Isaiah White or Chavez Goodwin play tough and help SC win a tough game. I can't tell you how many times it is the other teams that have guys just like this duo and I have seen them just clock the Trojans.
Tonight was a USC night. This time the team played hard and they looked like a well coached team.
I love seeing USC Basketball win important games, particularly against good road teams. Again, terrific win for the Trojans in Tucson. MJD

I.White certainly has fooled me. He has an ugly looking shot and shot 22% from the three last season on 17-76 shooting. Love his energy and I hope that ugly shot keeps falling.

Marty, you're absolutely right. His shot looks like a duck duck goose hope it goes in kinda shot. But in my book there is something to be said about hustle, energy and a controlled aggressiveness. He plays with a chip on his shoulder. Love guys like White. The shots won't always go in but he keeps that motor going all game long!!

Thank you for the beautiful memory my Trojan brother. Really enjoyed tonight's victory. Lots of movable parts, lots of guys who contribute.
When was the last time we swept the Arizona trip 🤔 🥳🙏🏀

This is such a deep, composed, and resilient team. Too often I’ve seen USC teams blow a lead and lose or barely cling on to win. These guys kept fighting and won going away.

(To be fair, I don’t know how composed they would have been with the usual Arizona home crowd in the stands. Can’t be intimidated an empty arena. But guys like Peterson and White seem pretty unflappable.)

Yes Sparjan I enjoyed that 2nd half of punch-counterpunch-punch. They scored we responded. In the past we lose this game.

A great signature win for a rapidly rising USC Basketball team, and on national television no less. Learned something about this team's resilience in overcoming the hot, hot shooting of the Lithuanian Center Tebulis and the strange officiating that led to Goodwin and I Mobley fouling out. Absolutely loved Evan Mobley's big statement tap dunk over Tebulis at the crucial part of the second half. But what I loved most was the team spirit coming from everyone on the Trojan bench in the second half. Kudos to the team and the coaching staff!

I find the benches energy in these quiet gyms to be so important for your team. That was one of my favorite parts about last night. They were getting so pumped up. The Lakers were the best team in the bubble, but their bench support was a huge catalyst to their success.
