Missing the game tomorrow as I'm driving up to Death Valley to attempt the Badwater to Telescope Peak day hike - the highest elevation gain in one day in North America (and maybe the world). Doubt they get the PAC12 Network in the shitty little hotel I got on the Nevada border.

A friend of mine went on a "relay" hike/race from the bottom of Death Valley to the top of Mt. Whitney. Your trek (going the whole distance) sounds just as if not more onerous. Good Luck!Comment

Thanks for the well-wishes, guys. I did it! 24 miles & 11,043 feet of elevation gain, per my GPS app. Absolutely brutal. My 50 year-old legs are in agony today. I got to watch the game from my hotel on my phone. It's awesome to win on the road when the shots aren't falling. Love this team.
