    Bohn needs to do something about these injuries

    The injuries keep piling up, and the changes in the line up are evident in this low-scoring game at Washington. We have Oliver, Campbell, and Miura (!!!) back, but now Sanders and Jackson are both out. The team's chemistry has definitely experienced yet another shift. I hope Bohn realizes that this team has had years of regular injuries and that something needs to be done to prevent them from recurring. There's no reason USC, with the talent and resources that it has, shouldn't be a regular in the tournament.

    At the half, the WOT are down 18-22 in Seattle.

    USC squeezes by with a great fourth quarter. The WOT are now at .500 in conference play (6-6) and are 8-7 overall. If they can upset a Wazzu team that just took down No. 5 UCLA in Pullman, they could overtake them for 5th in the Pac-12.

      Well, the first half was the battle of bricklayers with SC trailing 22-18 at the half. The Trojan's FG% was a pathetic 35.2% and even worse from 3 pt land (4-23 or 17.4%). Thank God for the free throw shooting. The team was 21-24 or 87.5% vs. 9-15 for UW. The free throws were the difference in the game as SC sealed the win. It was encouraging that we had Madison Campbell back and Alyson Miura playing for the first time this season, we can sure use their 3s, along with Shalexxus (who was off tonight, going 0-5). But we again swapped injured players with Jordan Sanders suffering an injury last game and Angel Jackson unavailable and also not visible on the bench (I don't remember if the announcers gave a reason for her absence). Zayla Tinner also did not play, along with the mysterious Shemera Williams (is she really on the team and eligible? -- inquiring minds want to know).

      Well next we need to beat the Cougs on Super Bowl Sunday. They are coming off an upset of the 'ruins, so maybe will be overconfident? Just wishful thinking on my part.
