Very nice finish to win going away 66-49 in Salt Lake .
A 4 th quarter 15-0 run to end it as Aaron scored 10 in a row
to get the split on the Mountain road trip. A bit shaky in first half
but team came through . Great to have some depth again .

My thoughts on the Utah game: Nice shooting, especially from the 3 pt stripe by Shalexxus (4-7) and Alyson Miura (2-3). Endya was much more focused this game and was aggressively looking for her shots and looking to set up her teammates (7 assists). I noted the improvement by Kyra White in being an offensive threat, simply by shooting 3 times (knocking down 1 3 pointer), this opens things up for her teammates. The bigs are still having a hard time with hitting a decent percentage on shots in the paint. Pili was almost automatic on these last season, but struggled tonight (3-9 shooting). Alissa did, however, lead all players on both teams with 5 steals and had zero turnovers. She will be more consistent as she continues to get healthier. Angel Jackson played only 9 minutes, getting 1 bucket. The biggest disappointment tonight was Desiree, who was scoreless (0-6) in almost 25 minutes played. She is an upperclassman and team captain and needs to do better than that, which I am confident she will. As SD Troy pointed out, it is very nice to have enough players on the bench to make substitutions and rest players. Amaya Oliver's minutes are way down and sharpshooter Madison Campbell hasn't really found a spot back in the lineup after her last injury. Her 3 pt shooting will help at sometime down the stretch. Well, losing to Colorado was very discouraging, but winning at Utah gave rise to needed optimism again. A brutal stretch of games is coming up against the Oregon schools and the 'ruins. Who knows, we may get an upset in there somewhere. Let's go Ladies, beat the Beavers on Friday! Fight on everybody!Comment
